"FROM RESTORATION TO RACE PREPARATION, IN MY OPINION THERE IS NONE BETTER THAN ASTON ENGINEERING"
John Sharpe - DB4 owner
In the beginning...
Aston Engineering was founded in 1983 by David Jack. David started his career as an Engineering Apprentice at Rolls-Royce Aerospace in Derby. In 1973 he joined Robin Hamilton (Aston Martin Distributor for the Midlands) as Works Manager, where he was involved with several racing projects including the Le Mans V8 RHAM/1 The Muncher, Aston Martin Nimrod group C project and the well-know racing DB4GT ‘1 GRE.’ Our dynamic business has built on this foundation over the decades, which in turn led to the recognition and our appointment as an Aston Martin Heritage Specialist in March 2002. Having outgrown the original site at Lonsdale Place in Derby, in March 2015 the decision was made to relocate to bespoke premises, allowing for continuing growth and development.
