1964 Aston Martin DB5 FOR SALE
Supplied new by Brooklands of Bond Street, the build of this DB5 was completed on the 27th November 1964, with the car being road registered on 5th January 1965. The original Aston Martin factory build sheet records show the first owner as Dr E. N. Johnson from Fishpool in Nottinghamshire. This is further confirmed by the vehicles original green log book contained in the history file.
This matching numbers example has been fully restored (following nearly 40 years of single ownership) by Aston Engineering and was completed in April 2021, with the car covering very few miles since.
Today, this DB5 is presented in Black Pearl with Red Vaumol trim and Wilton Grey carpet.
To ensure the car goes as well as it looks, the engine was converted to 4.7Ltr ‘AE’ specification and one of our handling kits was fitted. Other optional extras include electronic power steering, custom 15” Turrino wire wheels, winged headrests with cushions, original factory style rear mounted air conditioning and a Becker Mexico Retro radio.
Included with the car is the original registration number and a leather bound restoration book detailing the work carried out by our expert team.
