RAC Tourist Trophy Silverstone Classic 2011

July’s Silverstone Classic saw Aston Engineering prepared cars compete and secure podium finishers in the RAC Tourist Trophy. Driven by Wolfgang Friedrichs and David Clark, the race prepared Aston Martin DP212 would finish in third position on the day, beaten only by an Aston Martin DB4GT and a Ferrari 330 GTO.

Driving the Aston DB4GT to victory were Stuart Graham and Richard Attwood, with Graham becoming the only driver in history to win the TT on both two wheels and now four. Attwood secured victory on the final lap, passing the retired Ferrari 250 GT of Hans Hugenholtz and David Hart.
